Join us for a spectacular weekend celebrating the brilliance and breadth of Omagh’s musical legend, Arty McGlynn, across two unforgettable days filled with live music, heritage, and heart.
 
Expect a stunning evening of traditional Irish music excellence, headlined by the likes of Matt Molloy, John Carty, and Brian McGrath, alongside stellar performances from Nollaig Casey, Jerome McGlynn, Chris Newman, Mairéad Ní Chathasaigh, Eamon McElholm, and Shane McAleer. A magical evening honouring Arty’s musical genius in traditional music.
 
This concert shines a spotlight on Arty’s versatility, blending Country, Blues, Rock, and Jazz—featuring Brendan Quinn (a local music legend) backed by former Van Morrison band members Nicky Scott, Liam Bradley, Rod McVey, and Jerome McGlynn. Plus, a special nod to the ground-breaking Causeway album with Nollaig, Cathal Hayden, and others, plus a dynamic reunion with Mark McCausland.

Rooftop Museum Exhibition – Dive into Omagh’s showband heritage and explore Arty’s instruments and personal photographs.
 Saturday 8 Nov, 11 am – Omagh Music Heritage Walking Tour, led by local historian Declan Forde, starting at Strule Arts Centre and winding through Omagh’s musical landmarks.
 Saturday 8 Nov, 2 pm – Free Screening of the 1993 documentary Arty McGlynn: Guitar Player Omagh—a poignant tribute to his impact on Irish traditional music.
