The next walk with the HARC walking programme takes us to the Gortin Glen Forest Park and surrounding area.
Two walks are on offer on Saturday 8th August, both designed and led by Far and Wild and will be joined by cross-border partners on the day too, Inishowen Development Partnership.
Walk 1, a challenging 10km hike up Mullaghcarn.
A challenging 10km walk will take a circular route to the summit of Mullaghcarn and is ideal for people with a good level of fitness and some prior walking experience.

Walk 2, a moderate 6km walk.
A moderate 6km walk which will explore native woodland areas in the Gortin Glens Park and include nature attunement and foraging activities as part of the experience.

The meeting point for both walks will be the outdoor BBQ shelter opposite the playpark in the forest park, toilets and amble parking on site. Refreshments will be provided after the walk but it is advisable to bring a drink and snack with you. Please wear suitable footwear.
