About the omagh half marathon
Omagh Half Marathon was started in 1989 by a small group of Omagh Harriers. The race has grown to be one of the largest Half Marathons in Northern Ireland. In 2023 the race had over 2500 Half competitors. The Half marathon has a committee of 10 people and a race day crew or over 200 volunteers!!!
