SUP & Sauna back-to-back in the beautiful Gortin Lakes and Forest Park
Our second ‘Summer Special’ event is a Stand Up Paddle Board and Yoga activity on Gortin lakes coupled with a supreme Sauna experience with the wonderful, forest-based Sauna Shack.
The back-to-back activities are offered at a discounted rate to help people try out the experiences who may never have done so before. The Gortin Lakes are a part of the Foyle catchment, with the nearby rivers of the Owenreagh and Owenkillew flowing into the River Mourne which becomes the foyle at Strabane-Lifford. The Loughs Agency is subsidising the event as part of the 2025 WaterWise Programme, which aims to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to take part in water-based activities, promote water safety, and support local clubs and activity providers across the Foyle and Carlingford catchments.
