Darach – Giants of the Sperrins

Darach "The Guardian" is one of three Giant wooden sculptures - located on the summit of Mullaghcarn - parking is available at Gortin Glen Forest Park.Access is on foot from the Walking Trail Head at Gortin Glen Forest Park via the Mullaghcarn Walking Trail (follow purple arrows – Trail Head located between the main car park and the amenity building). This linear trail (total of 7.4km return) meanders upwards through the forest park to the summit on gravel path/tarmac. Toilets and cafe are available onsite. On entry to the forest park, please follow signs for the main car park.

Gortin Glen Forest Park is open 6.30am - 9.30pm daily (the Forest park may have to close in icy conditions)
