Dare to be different and experience a truly traditional Hallowe’en full of superstition, history and folklore at Ulster American Folk Park.
Step back in time as you discover traditions of old, and learn how the people of rural Ulster celebrated Hallowe’en over the last two hundred years. Listen to tales of lore and misfortune, do some barn dancing and taste delicious Hallowe’en fayre like barmbrack and apple tart.
Then find out how old traditions were brought across from Ulster and how new traditions were created in America. There’ll also be children’s crafts and a Hallowe’en trail for little ones to follow as they search for the missing turnips and pumpkins around the Park.
