What’s Open in Omagh & the Sperrins

**COVID-19 NOTICE: FOR LASTEST GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES VISIT NI DIRECT**

As per the lastest announcement by the NI Executive the following tourism related businesses (among others) will reopen on:

  • 23 April – Reopening of outdoor attractions
  • 30 April – Reopening of all retail / Caravans & Self-Contained Tourism Accommodation / Unlicenses and licenses outdoor premises / Removal of curfews for takeways & off licences
  • 24 May (indicative date)- Reopening of Indoor Hospitality (inc. Pubs & Hotels) / remained of tourist accommodation / indoor visitor attractions

We have put together the following quick reference guide to let you know what has reopened. We look forward to welcoming back to Explore Omagh & the Sperrins!

The outdoor spaces (walks, gardens, Wild Woods/Playgarden) can be accessed at anytime

The main centre/craft shop & White Hare Restaurant/Coffee Shop is open Wednesday/Thursday 10am-5pm, Friday/Saturday 10am-8pm & Sunday 10am-7pm

 

Gortin Glens Forest Park

Gortin Glens Forest Park remains open to the public but ask that visitors respect social distancing measures.

Ulster American Folk Park

The Ulster American Folk Park will reopen to the public on 24 May which will allow visitors the opportunity to explore the museum in its entirety including its significant indoor collections. For the most up to date information CLICK HERE
