Dukes Ultra Premium Ice Cream

Dukes Ultra Premium Ice Cream is brought to you by a husband and wife duo, Jonny and Natasha who are true ice cream enthusiasts. When covid hit and the ice cream shops shut, to fulfil his ice cream cravings Jonny bought an ice cream maker and we started making ice cream. Many lockdown evenings and weekends where spent trying out different recipes and enjoying the ice cream we made. As the world and we emerged from lockdown, we shared our ice cream with some friends and family who to our surprise loved it as much as we did and as we returned to some of our much loved ice cream shops their ice cream just wasn’t the same as the ice cream we could make at home. After doing a bit of research, Jonny discovered we had in fact been making ultra premium ice cream, something to our knowledge not available in Northern Ireland. With this golden nugget of knowledge and with some help we created what we believe to be the highest quality ice cream possible, that we can not wait for you to try. Dukes Ice Cream Honesty Shop is open Daily from 10am to 10pm

A family run traditional Irish bar and bistro in the heart of the Sperrin’s in the beautiful, scenic town of Gortin. Traditional food is served Wednesday – Sunday, with the bar open 7 days a week. The Kitchen opened its doors in 2015 with a small budget and a big dream – to do food differently. 

We have always believed that food should nourish the body and the soul; that healthy food can also be deliciously indulgent and exciting, and that the simple joy of eating is best shared with friends and loved ones.

Just as the kitchen is the heart of the home, we wanted to put The Kitchen at the heart of our community, creating a warm and inviting haven where our patrons feel immediately at ease. Our menus focus on the freshest, in-season produce and high-quality ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible and combined to create simple, delicious dishes inspired by global cuisine. We pride ourselves on offering extensive choice for those with specific dietary requirements including sugar, dairy and gluten free diets as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
