Three beautiful bespoke mountain view cabins nestled in a tranquil setting at the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 2km from the stunning Gortin
Glen Forest park.
Guests can enjoy walking/cycling stunning routes directly from the cabin – once at the cabin no need to travel by vehicle. With stunning mountain views and dark skies at night, watch the sun rise in the morning or enjoy a starry night sky.

Cabin design and build:
Each cabin has been designed and built with comfort and privacy in mind – guests enter through individually gated entrances and private decking and can relax and unwind in open plan and spacious interiors – fully equipped kitchens, comfy dining and seating areas, double-size beds furnished with luxury cotton linens, hanging space and underbed storage for belongings and ensuite bathrooms with waterfall showers. Each cabin also provides high speed WIFI and TV with streaming services. Outside guests can enjoy the use of calming rocking chairs and private BBQ.

Gortin Glen Glamping

Gortin Glen Glamping is a privately owned family business situated in Co. Tyrone. Nestled on the fringes of one of the best forest parks in Ireland, Gortin Glen Glamping is rapidly emerging as one of the must-visit holiday destinations in 2022. The newly opened self-catering pods offers guests an exceptional short-break experience in the heart of the Sperrin Mountains yet are only a short drive away from Omagh (7 miles) and Gortin (3 miles) making them very accessible for travelers from all parts. Furnished to the highest standard, all pods sleep four adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children with a comfortable double bed and large sofa bed. Each pod has gas central heating with ensuite bathroom, smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with two ring gas cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, crockery and cooking utensils.

With guests assured of all the comforts of home inside, once they step outside they are set to be wowed by magical views across the Sperrins and can enjoy spectacular sunsets in front of their own fire pit and BBQ. And to top it off, you can relax in your own private Jacuzzi hot tub and let all the worries and stresses of daily life soak away under the open sky. Gortin Glen Glamping is the perfect staycation venue for everyone. If you fancy a brisk hike in the hills, a challenging spin on the nearby bike trail or a leisurely walk amongst nature, the pods are within a stone’s throw of the glorious Gortin Glen forest park and its miles of nature trails, family play zone and the Gortin lakes.

 

Birchwood Fishery

Birchwood is a trout fishery which is neatly settled in the countryside, just a mile out of Drumquin. With its man-made lakes being supplied with a crystal clear supply of spring water, being fed through all 4 lakes. Fish range from 2lbs up to 22lbs. Meadows Camping

A sheltered spot basking in the sun, with a babbling brook running by the site offers beautiful walks by the river or through the ancient woodland. In a tranquil farmland setting nestled close to the beautiful market village of Gortin at the foot of the Sperrin mountains. The Meadows is a wonderful hideaway site at one with nature at its best. Our idyllic hideaway has all the on site facilities you need and want.

Glenpark Estate

Glenpark Estate is located at the foot of the Gortin Glens Forest Park just outside Omagh, Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland. The site of the former Ulster History Park now offers hotel rooms, a caravan park & campsite, a licensed restaurant & bar, children’s soft play, a farm shop, access to the beautiful grounds, an open farm featuring rare breed animals and is also a venue for weddings and events.

Caravan Pitches

24 freshly landscaped pitches set in beautiful woodland on the edge of the Gortin Glen Forest Park.

All pitches have electricity, water and access to a communal bathroom block (toilets and showers). There is a games/common room open daily until 11pm.
